GLHF recently ran a report on AI voice acting, and how voice actors are concerned about losing their jobs to the technology. The piece in part focused on one such company working on this tech called Altered AI, and noted how Ninja Theory, currently working on Hellblade 2: Senua’s Saga, is working with Altered AI, leading some to be concerned that the studio is replacing actual actors with AI. Crysis Remastered features ray tracing on both PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, but Digital Foundry shows you how it looks running on the latter. According to the article and analysis from DF, metal surfaces and glass produce accurate reflections, with RT reflections mapped onto the nanosuit, as seen in the game’s cutscenes. The article also states that since ray tracing is so GPU-intensive, it is only available on the enhanced consoles....

Announced in March, Shadow Man Remastered is set for release in 2021. Today during the PC Gaming Show we were provided a look at the spoofed up version of the game originally released for PlayStation, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, and PC in 1999. It’s being remastered by Nightdive Studios, which is also working on the Blade Runner remaster. IO Interactive will add new and free content to Hitman 3 on a weekly basis in February, it has announced. Action-packed title Just Cause 4 is now free through the Epic Games Store alongside indie game Wheels of Aurelia. Just Cause 4, in case you happen to be unfamiliar with it, the game stars agent Rico Rodriguez who is in Solis to find out about his past, and to cause chaos with a wide selection of weapons, a grappling hook, various gear, and vehicles. It’s a crazy fun sandbox game, at least in our opinion....

News of the air date was revealed today during the streaming service’s Tudum event alongside a new trailer. The show is set in Runeterra where the rather prosperous city of Piltover exists beside the more impoverished underground city of Zaun. The story follows the origins of two League champions, Jinx and Vi, and “the power that will tear them apart.” It will also focus on the aforementioned cities, and how the balance of power seems to be shifting to the city of Zaun’s favor thanks to Hextech technology....
